What is a NVFR Rating?
The NVFR Rating allows a pilot to fly an aircraft during the night in VMC (Visual Meteorological Conditions)
Flight training lessons include a basic instrument flight and navigation aid training component conducted by day, followed by circuits and navigation exercises at night, procedures in the event of abnormal situations and human factors and
non-technical skills awareness and application.
How Long Does This Course Take?
The course may be undertaken on a part-time or full-time basis. The course is based on a total flight time of 15.3 hours inclusive of the NVFR (A) flight test; however the total flight time required to achieve competency will vary from student to student.
Are There Any Course Prerequisites?
Students must hold a private, commercial or air transport pilot licence and aeroplane category
